The legend of the Doudou in which a dragon terrorizes the city of Mons
Located in southwestern Belgium, Mons is the capital of the province of Hainaut and the cultural capital of Wallonia. It is an administrative and judicial district covering an area of 584 km2. Close to Brussels-South Charleroi Airport and one hour from Brussels Airport, Mons is located at a European crossroads between Amsterdam and Paris on the one hand, and Cologne and London on the other. It has a population of around 100,000 and welcomed 2,200,000 visitors in 2015.
